Hey there! I’m Elise. I’m an Appalachia-born, Chicago-based actor working in voiceover, theatre, and on screen. My voice is described as a reassuring gravity blanket for commercial work, and my classical theatre training makes narrative and character copy come to life and step off the page.Recently, I returned to my roots in doing old British theatre in Idle Muse Theatre Company's production of The School For Scandal. The show was met with critical acclaim across the board, and reviewer Joseph Cunniff wrote "The cast is so good that it seems unfair to single anyone out, but if forced by threats I might mention Erik Schnitger as Sir Peter and Elise Soeder as Lady Sneerwell."I am reinvesting time and energy into working at the mic, and look forward to sharing my work and progress.
